The one item on the agenda was to move Maggie to a big-girl bed. No more crib. She danced around her room singing "big girl bed, big girl bed...." while we disassembled the crib. The transition was a huge success. We had one nap (her first in the bed) where she was just too excited to sleep and after about an hour we went in to find her shoes all lined up on her bed and her wearing a pair.
These were the shoes she chose to wear rather than line up. If you look closely you can see how she colored on them. She was SO proud of her handy work. Luckily they are last years shoes and are a little small for her. If they were a new pair I would have been so mad!

How could you be mad at that sweet face?!
That's what you get for taking her to art class! You are lucky she didn't color all over her pretty bedding!
i love the guilty face!
Just look at that tender face. She is an artist. What do you expect?
P.S. That is a very snazzy purse you have in the background.
What a cute big girl bed! I can't see why she wouldn't love it! I love her gold shoes, too. She's quite the artist!
