Hawaii Part 2

The second half of our Hawaii trip was in Kona, on the Big Island.

I'm sure one of the highlights for the girls (if you can pick just one) would be the dolphin experience.

Hawaii Part 1

Two weeks in paradise!

We spent our first week on Oahu, in Honolulu.  Lots of beach time at Waikiki Beach:

Pearl Harbor:

Hiking Diamond Head:

More beach time:

Did some shopping.  Of course I didn't get a picture of me when a bird pooped on my arm!  Luckily there was a water fountain I washed it off in and then doused my arm in hand sanitizer. But all ends well when Daddy comes home with a new hat!

I tagged along with the McGarry's for a helicopter rid around the island.  By far my favorite thing!

Polynesian Cultural Center:

Leaving the hotel (and our favorite new friends) for the second half of our trip:

Maggie Turns Eight!

Eight. I've been a mom for eight years to this tender hearted girl. I so love her!!!

The evening of her birthday was a Colorado Rockies game.  We had second row seats behind the dugout.  The players would come out and roll baseballs over the dugout to the girls.

Birthday party was a gymnastics party at Airborne.  Theme was Monster High.

May 2014 Misc

May is such a busy month!

Swim season at Sunset pool begins.
Caroline: I've covered myself in mud and sand.  I've already consumed a cotton candy.  I'm starting in on a box of chocolate grahams,  And I'm mad because mom won't buy me yet another treat at concessions:

Maggie's last day of school .  Her request was that I meet her at the school with her suit so we could go directly to the pool.  A huge ice cream sandwich AND a cotton candy were involved.

A little lunch after her kindergarten round up.  She can't wait to start school this fall!

Preschool (and soon to be kindergarten) buddy Wilson teaching Caroline a thing or two about chess:

"Mommy, can you turn on some peaceful music so we can meditate?"
