Halloween Part 2

Grampy suddenly appeared on the scene just in time for Halloween. Maggie was thrilled to see a school bus pull up in front of our house! As we heard the wild tales of how Grampy braved the blizzard conditions (and a night on the floor of the Denver Buddhist temple in a sleeping bag) we ate Patrick's ever so tasty homemade pizza before heading out to our church's trunk-or-treat.

Lucky girl Maggie arrived in style with her personal bus. Oh, was she THRILLED!

Maggie decided that she'd prefer answering the door to running around our neighborhood in the cold. She went wild every time the doorbell rang and loved dropping candy in each and every bag put in front of her. In between that she chatted up her Grampy--so open and comfortable around him. Caroline, who is currently going through stranger anxiety issues, was also surprisingly pleased with her Grampy.

The next morning we got yet another bus ride over to our local breakfast place. After we ate we took a detour on our way home to visit random spots in Longmont (SO like my dad--it was great!!)

Maggie's favorite thing to do lately is tickle Caroline with her feet--just like Grampy did to her while visiting. Visits from Grampy are random and unexpected but are always an adventure.

Love the costumes-so sweet!!! Just like Dad, I appreciate so much more now than I am older! Audrey was a lady big also.

Beautiful angel coat. Lovely bare little foot on lady bug. C. is clearly not too sure about the whole bus experience. Angelic and kissable.

Do you remember the trip to Jackson Hole for Youth Conference in the bus? What a blast.

I love your bus experiences. A friend of mine might be moving to Longmont.

How fun! What an adventurous dad you have. He always has interesting stories to tell about where he's been. Maggie is a little princess. I can't believe how grown up she is looking! And little Caroline is still a little round faced doll. You'll have to make a few more of those adorable babies! ;-)
