Caroline had a couple of besties from school. One of those friends was Nessa:
Nessa came from a family that ate VERY healthy. She liked playdates at our house because she was served canned mandarin oranges in syrup--something she never would have at home. When she came to our house the first thing she did was ask for the "little oranges" and saltine crackers.
