Someone Is In The Wrong Chair

Everything that Caroline "owns" seems to really be of interest to Maggie. This day she zeroed in on the Bumbo seat. It was very important that she eat a snack while sitting in it.

Some Good Ones

Is this the cutest little tea party or what??

Notice the two sets of pj's. Maggie insists on wearing her Disney nightgowns but it's too cold so I insist on the warmer ones underneath. She also likes to do a little water color with her breakfast.

Halloween Part 2

Grampy suddenly appeared on the scene just in time for Halloween. Maggie was thrilled to see a school bus pull up in front of our house! As we heard the wild tales of how Grampy braved the blizzard conditions (and a night on the floor of the Denver Buddhist temple in a sleeping bag) we ate Patrick's ever so tasty homemade pizza before heading out to our church's trunk-or-treat.

Lucky girl Maggie arrived in style with her personal bus. Oh, was she THRILLED!

Maggie decided that she'd prefer answering the door to running around our neighborhood in the cold. She went wild every time the doorbell rang and loved dropping candy in each and every bag put in front of her. In between that she chatted up her Grampy--so open and comfortable around him. Caroline, who is currently going through stranger anxiety issues, was also surprisingly pleased with her Grampy.

The next morning we got yet another bus ride over to our local breakfast place. After we ate we took a detour on our way home to visit random spots in Longmont (SO like my dad--it was great!!)

Maggie's favorite thing to do lately is tickle Caroline with her feet--just like Grampy did to her while visiting. Visits from Grampy are random and unexpected but are always an adventure.

Halloween Part 1

I didn't realize Halloween becomes a multi-day event once you have kids. It's too much really.

Maggie had a costume day at her dance class. It was SO cute--they did a little dance at the end for the parents:

A couple of days later I tried to get her to do the dance for Patrick and she said, "no, it's too scary for him".

Next we had a Halloween story time and costume parade at the library. Maggie walked in to see all the kids dressed up and could not get enough of it! She kept saying things like "look mommy! There's Dorothy. Look mommy! There's a giraffe"...

Halloween day was lots of fun with a special visit from Grampy. But Grampy deserves his own post so look out for Halloween Part 2.

Playdate with Addy

Maggie's friend, Addy, came to play. They had a grand time as usual.
I love this pic of the girls eating and teeny little Caroline on the couch in the background.

Addy spent the majority of her visit trying to play with Maggie while simultaneously taking care of the baby:

Maggie was so worked up after Addy left she decided to "love" her sister:

A Million Photos of Caroline

All the various faces she pulled were so funny! I couldn't just take one and be done with it.

Getting Back To It

When we came home from Utah (beautiful weather) we found snow in our yard. Even though it was rather scant, Maggie was insistent that she play in it.

We went right back to wearing dance gear only:

We started gearing up for Halloween:

Maggie is into pointing at the thing I ask her to pose for a picture with.

One morning Maggie woke up and asked if Caroline could ride in her stroller. It was fun-ny!
